S70 center console in an 850?

The center console in my 94 850 wagon is beat to hell. Someone nearby is parting out a 98 S70 sedan and I was thinking of grabbing the center console if it is compatible. Does anyone know? In addition, would be master window switch switch over from his card to mine? Thanks!

Center console no, they are very different.

Window master switch no, it's mounted in the doors in an S70, not the center console.

I can't say whether the underpinning changed a whole lot as the 98 S70 was the first official Volvo I owned and worked on. The body and interior from what I can tell is a completely different model from the 850's so NO.

Several years ago one of our members (maybe it was on VS) completely retrofitted an 850 with a S70 interior, dash, door panels, seats, console and carpets. Apparently they will fit but since stuff like the window switches and such moved you need to do it as a complete package to make everything work. The wiring harness needs to be changed along with the parts and panels.
