Need some direction as I am getting a little frustrated. For some time my xc 60 has a periodic ghost steering effect. Mostly happens on corners turning left or in the past on icy surfaces. The sensation of the drivers side wheel going in another direction is felt in the steering wheel.
The inner tie rod had been replaced, the cv joint was suspected as to a boot tear up, new rotors have been done during a service at the local garage and still after asking the garage to test drive the volvo it still returns with the same sensation of ghost steer. The other way to describe it is to picture a shopping cart caster wheel in the front that is a little flaky and has that wobble sensation happening on a occasion. Perhaps not as extreme but noticeable just the same.
Any thoughts or direction?
