It's the cylinder on the front left side of the seat. It should have a metal plate just ahead of the cylinder. The front of that plastic control panel cover clamps onto it. It doesn't appear to be pictured in your post.

Ok i just downloaded and took a look at those diagrams. Not being picky at all, just not what i expected. That is a very confusing diagram.
