Ok here goes a long one.
in 2016 i purchased my 1998 Volvo V70 with a manual shift from a fellow off of this forum out of Saskatoon, SK.
He sold me an incredible car I have had lots of fun with. This fellow put many hours and dollars into turning this average V70 into a sleeper. Took the engine from an 02 C60, redid the gear ratios and a few other tweaks.
I have put about $8000 (labor & parts) into the car over the last 3 years, although no matter how much money i throw into it the car gets older and rougher
TO MY POINT!! I know there are very very few manual 98 V70s left in Canada. I have purchased a new vehicle and now have no room or need for my V70. There must be someone in this forum willing to take this car off my hands for a very reasonable price and turn it into the car it deserves to be OR use it as a parts car for perhaps your V70 that you cannot find parts for. I am giving myself 2 months to deal with it before i contact the local scrap yard and have them come collect it. (it is that rough)
Driving to winnipeg in 2 days and maybe could bring the car with me and drop it off along the way if someone acts fast.
A little about the car as it is
285,000km
Swapped 02 C60 engine (aprox 150,000km)
Driveshaft taken out and not replaced (FWD only now)
Engine tick OR exhaust leak OR both
Turbo not producing power
E-break handle snapped. (Need good welder or replacement)
Car does drive and has been my daily until yesterday
2 months from today before its gone. Please someone take this off my hands and show it some love.
