Salvage Title, any suggestions on what this is worth? Thanks!

1) Mileage? ~160k
2) When timing belt was last done? Feb 2015
3) Were the air bags or curtain bags deployed? No
4) Motor starts and idles OK? Yes
5) Transmission OK? Yes

I understand it may not drive far due to the damaged radiator but but is the engine and transmission OK? Yes - I have only started it to move the car 30 or so feet but engine runs fine - transmission to as far as I know.
Blessings,

BKM

Radiator - perhaps complete with the A/C condenser and fan, refill A/C, upper transverse bar, hood, bumper, bumper cover

Used parts perhaps perhaps $800 ? worse scenario, I put the R bumper cover at $300 Plus repaint + labor

Assuming headlights are fine

Of course, wait for the other answers

Run the NADA and get the value on the car without damage - the seller bought it back at 5-10% of that from the insurance company.

That will come on at about $250 for the buyback - 5% of $5000 I will SWAG

He is too lazy to part it out, so he thinks he can make money off you parting it out.

Parting out is a lot more work than people think.

In general are R body parts interchangeable with the V70? Thanks for the answers above!

I am thinking of purchasing the whole car. Let's say he paid $500 to get it back do you think I should offer $750? Is it worth that given the Salvage Title?

The wheels and 2k miles Michelin tires are worth $500 alone. Engine maybe $750. It'll fetch more than $1k surely.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Thanks Matthew1. The $750 for the engine. He pulls or I have to do it?

I don't know that the engine would cost that; that's just ballpark for a good used Volvo engine these days... one that you'd find already removed, ready to ship, with its history known.

Waiting for a friend with 10 Acres to reply tomorrow. Will see if he minds me parking it there for a bit if I decide to make an offer (not sure what yet) and is accepted. Only allowed one home on 10 Acres due to Septic codes.

Probably about $3,000+ in my neck of the woods. Looks like it could be back on the road with little effort if frame isn't bent and it doesn't look like a very severe impact.
