$3000 for a project that can't be started and run? Wow. That would be a big risk in my book.

Says in post motor starts and runs and tranny ok. Looks like cosmetic damage to me. Not so much risk.

I agree, but if the shove into the upper crossmember pulled in on the fender supports, then you're in bodyshop-level straightening, not just parts replacing.

I liked the $750 idea! Let's go with that.

You probably work in a profession where people are honest and never try to bend the truth. You have to be more skeptical buying a car.

Good point. And at 160k miles is no longer a low miles car. It doesn't say manual/auto, perhaps a manual is worth buying and rebuilding. Hope that titanium pain job is not too expensive

Titanium pain or paint job and what is a titanium paint job? Are the hood, bumper, fender and cross member interchangeable with Non-R models. If possible I wouldn't mind a sleeper.

I think Titanium just references a color.. Titanium Grey was a Volvo color.
I have no idea if or why this would be more expensive than other colors.

Perhaps the Titanium paint is a Titanium pain to paint and match so the term Titanium pain  ? Thanks!
