PCV kit prices with shipping in europe

Post by blackVolo »

Hello. I just got 1998 V70 2.5T AWD last week and did not do the glove test when I bought the car. And of course now did, and it blows up like a balloon, so PCV is clogged. Also on idle on still car, I can smell oil burn. And dipstick jumped out from the tube on hard acceleration.

Also EFI-232 shows on iCarSoft reader, related?

Car has 431 000 km on the clock.

In europe, where have you found Original/IPD PCV kit parts for the least amount of money?

Try Skandix.de in Germany, and perhaps (not sure if they still have them) try Mekonomen in Sweden.

at skandix, be careful that you get OE Volvo quality. Their 'Hausmarke' brand is of doubtable quality, especially on rubber parts. Ask me how I know.

No.

ProParts Sweden is notorious for producing crap parts, especially anything made of rubber, like the PCV hoses. The plastic oil trap box is probably OK, otherwise I wouldn't touch ProParts for any PCV parts.
