It's probably just a pump, and the error message is 'leak detection'

Think leak down test for the Evap system.

Thanks, I googled it to see what it looks like.

So this pump is for the sole-purpose of self-diagnostic of the Evap System?
Is it creating pressure at all times?

Not sure if you found it?

GR-372945 - Same parts diagram for both the 2.4 & 2.5. Part #8. I'm not familiar with the Evap System so I could tell either way its location.

I found it. It is in a very hard place to get to. The bracket that holds it in place seems to be welded to the frame of the car. I was barely able to take the screws off. Now having hard time trying to take part off. I even tried to bend the bracket but it is not going anywhere... This car is a pain.

Sometimes people loosen engine mounts and jack up / tilt the engine, or remove other components, just to get better access, not sure that would help in this situation.
