Transmission Dipstick Location - 2000 S70
My transmission slipped today and I need to check the fluid. I cannot find the dipstick anywhere. I have a 2000 volvo S70 with a 2.4l engine.

If yours has the 5 speed auto, then it is much harder to see. It is tucked way down on the front of the trans and is typically a short yellow dipstick and is held in with a clip. The clip has to be bent slightly to one side to allow the dipstick to be removed. Access is tricky, but best done by removing the plastic intake pipe between the front and the airbox.
