The electric plug is different. The switches still might be compatible, because PNP is actuated mechanically via gear selector and PRND part of travel is the same.
Geartronic +/- has nothing to do with PNP switch: it stays in Drive, + and - are detected via push buttons.
Thanks vtl.you are a real saver.i have pn/8636441 judging by the electrical plug...if it's mechanical I suppose it's gona work? Now just came back from work and in front of my house I lost 3Rd gear and 1St gear, never got speed for 5 th gear... Only 2 ND, 4 th gear and reverse. Im a confused about the plates on the boxes. Mine is 00M-V70-7655 and the donor box says 00E-V71-1931. The first two number is the production date, the letter is weeks of prod. And then is V70???? And four numbers. The donor box is also 00E (probably only weeks apart) but it says V71????...? Who is the V 71? Also what's the number on the upper right corner, maybe part number? So many questions, so little knowledge
Maybe someone can decode that? As for the gear ratios im not sure maybe they r different differ.the valve body should be the same no letter or a letter, but the adaptation should solve that right?come on guys, I know there is someone who knows this things /numbers /swaps...Jrl Astro please say something... Anyway thanks guys especially vtl.
I read the codes p1618 and p0733 gear 3 incorect gear ratio...clear the codes, went for a drive and excelent changing through the gear, and the codes are back after 20 min driving, again lost 3 Rd gear, and heavy slipping. So I disconnect the upper return hose from the radiator to see if atf is flowing.I start the car and it has a good flow, comparing when I did a flush a year ago when the box was OK it has the same flow rate. So it has atf flow the pump is pumping atf at a good rate...I thought its not pumping at all because of the winning sound and maybe a clogged filter? Hmmm out of thoughts and out of gears
