I would like to know if there was an option on the 850 models equipped with the dash central speaker ?

The Dolby Pro logic was a option for the 70 series. A few people have swapped the entire dash from a P80 70 series to a 850.
You do need to use the 70 series door panels or the doors will not shut. The ends of the dashes are different.

I’ve read about a couple 850 owners that have
installed the OE 70 series surround system.
If you’re comfortable modifying an 850 dash
for the center channel speaker, everything
else is plug and play. AFAIK, no OE center
channel dash was ever offered by Volvo.
