MC Brake Pressure Connector Removal? 2007 S60

Post by VeroS60 »

I’m replacing the brake booster and master cylinder on my 2007 S60 (has DSTC). Does anyone understand how to remove the connectors on the brake pressure servos on the bottom of the master cylinder? I Need to disconnect these so I can remove the pressure servos from the MC (which requires a 27mm socket). Thanks!!

Here are photos from my F450. It uses the same sensor and connector. I don't have a Volvo here today with DSTC with the sensors. One photo shows my thumb depressing the tab that releases it and another shows the tab on the more narrow end. It is barely rectangular.

Got it, thanks. I was actually able to see the tab once I removed the MC from the booster.
