Your off-roading capabilities are much better without a sway bar.
It's your call. It won't ride much stiffer, maybe a hint. Less body roll when cornering. I doubt you push the car through corners though. That's a good looking car by the way. Those wheels look great on V70's in my opinion, have them on our 04 AWD with Nokian's.
It'd be a pretty pricey upgrade. I haven't done a whole sweaty-evening of scouring the internet looking for JUST a rear sway bar, but looks like they are sold as a kit, front and rear (the places I've looked). I'm sure you could get just a rear Volvo branded one, but again would be costly.

I believe everything you need to mount one is there. I think it was an IPD video that mentioned that some models didn't have rear sway bars but could be installed.GlennG2759 wrote: ↑29 Aug 2019, 10:55 Would he be worth putting one in, I would imagine all the mount are there. Noticeable ride difference?
Both, my previous 2.4T and current T5 cars had them so I can't give you any advice on what the difference in corner would be like, but I do really appreciate the flat cornering the T5 has. If you want to take corners more aggressively then add it, that would be the benefit.

There used to be a police chassis kit to improve handling. Especially with the heavy load all police cars carry as standard. It mostly contained thicker sway bars front and rear so they must be quite important for handling.
Mine also has one and handles quite well for a soft road cruiser.

The conclusion is some did some didn't. Just wanted make sure. As Pete said one less think I have to replace. It's going to do a lot of highway driving, so I won't even look into installing one. It has original shocks on so I replace those. Thanks for everyone's input.
