2007 S80 Fuel Pressure Sensor

Post by 2007S80 »

Can anyone confirm the correct Bosch part number for a fuel pressure sensor for a 2007 S80?

Rock Auto shows the part number to be 0261230110.

FCP Euro shows the part number to be 0261230238.

Thanks!

When I was researching this question I decided to buy

BOSCH 0261230238

I did buy this sensor because of failures experienced by others but I haven’t installed it yet

I own two 3.2 and the sensor will fit both

2010 S80
2008 LR2

The engine is the same for both vehicles

If you do a google search of images you will see that the other sensor has two mounting holes and the one I bought only has one

It’s my understanding that either sensor will fit.

Good luck

Paul

My 2008 has the 0261230110 sensor on it and my son's 2008 Volvo S60 2.5 also has the 110 sensor on it. The extra "mounting hole" is actual for a wire harness clip for the S60 application where my XC70 3.2 does not use that hole.

I questioned FCP Euro about their application part number and I told them what was on my car and their response if that my XC70 3.2 has the wrong sensor on it to have the Bosch part number ending in 110. They said it should be the one ending in 238.

Steve

It’s my understanding that the sensors are functionally identical

But as you pointed out the one sensor has some extra features for mounting the wiring harnesses to

Thanks

Paul
