I have a v8 and I can't find it anywhere or any pics to tell me how to drain. I am told there is a plug on the drivers side of car but no idea where. Please help.

I just did new hoses and did not see anything but the normal drain, this is what I used before pulling the lower hose. It's under the big silver colored crossmember-

Need to undo this plug carefully - some owners tighten these too much and they are difficult to undo next time and may also break. I talk a little about this small plastic plug at 6:00 here www.youtube.com/watch?v=69ymGTqHxRw Basically, when screwing it back in place, you can just tighten it by hand until it stops rotating - it will stay in place and seal properly (same idea as the oil filter cup, for example)

Awesome. One last question for now. Reason I ask is because I have to change my starter and there is a little metal piece attached to a hose right a move the starter that I need to remove to get the starter out. If I disconnect this piece without draining some coolant do you know if coolant will leak from here? I would rather not have to drain...

Couple coolant filled hoses run higher than that location (heater hose as example, just below your drawing). I think you'll need to drain some if you don't want to make a mess.
