Just placed my order for BC coilovers, can't wait to replace the whole suspension (Monroe strut with 200k miles stock spring and crappy spring seats on the front, short ebay spring + Meyle strut on the rear )

Thanks for the Golf lesson. People putter about at 25 mph on the freeways. Iron out their differences, and drive green cars so they don’t get teed off.

2 hour from Laguna to UCLA , 60 miles trip, leaving at 0630. I liked having to waggle the stick it made me one with the flow. I am guessing the typical commute here would be 30 miles or less which would be ok in a hybrid with semi autonomous cruise control, almost enjoyable

I'm good staying here on the east coast! Those guys are probably having no problem at all cruising along at 25... I can't handle going that slow.

That should be a nice upgrade! I've heard the BC coilovers are pretty good, I'm interested to hear how you like them.

There's a lot of Volvo owners in the UK using them and they seem happy with how they perform.
I was originally going for Koni struts and Eibach springs but replacing every single parts (spring seats, strut bearings, bumpstops...) made it more expensive than BC coilovers, even with Koni orange struts

The coilovers were on order only, so I still have 2 or 3 weeks to appreciate the Monroes crashing on every speed bump
