Exciting box!
Had an old friend come back today... I think the R was mad that I've been driving the S60 the past couple days!

Bart, how long was that fuel tank drop? I'm wondering if I should harvest the one from the 1998

Surprisingly not bad at all. Dusty grimy up there. I found a clever write-up related to changing out old hoses, and he bypassed the fuel pump relay and pumped the tank dry with a 1/4" ID clear hose over the fuel pump output pipe.
Pop the covers, undo all the electrical and hose fittings, pop out the retaining ring at the fuel filler boot and push the boot through the body opening. Support tank with a block and floor jack, undo the strap bolts, manhandle it down to the floor while wrestling the filler pipe around the RR fender liner. Undo the plastic hoops that hold the bundle of wires and hoses to the floor. Not really heavy when dry.
I cracked the tiny rubber hose connector from a plastic pipe to the fuel filter assembly - dry and old. Only replacement part needed so far (special Volvo hose with a different diameter at each end).

I did nothing. Again.
But I bought more speakers and other goodies for my BMW. I'm going from 12 speakers in total to 8. I am not really sure what I'm doing but the math kind of adds up. The amps have around 30% extra power over the speakers. Might add a 10-12" subwoofer later on but think I should wait and see what this system sounds like first.

Yesterday I changed the rotors and pads on the rear axle and the brakepads for the parking prake on the rear axle (we call them "brake shoes" in the Netherlands). Also replaced the brake calipers on the driversside on the front and rear of the car because they were severely rusted and the piston in the caliper didn't retract smoothly (sometimes during my roadtrip in Poland I thought I noticed a brake smell, but it went away as soon as I noticed it). Also changed the outer cv joint on the passengersside. I did al these things to get Freya through the yearly inspection.

Well, I think they exist

I used to own a pair of dutch clogs. They were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Swedish clogs made out of leather and not one piece solid wood is way more nicer to your feet
EDIT:
but dutch liquorice is, hands down, the best
