Coilovers are in ! The front was a piece of case, basically 4 nuts and 2 bolts. The rear took more time since the shock eye didn't want to fit on the stud, I had to get the dremel and make it slightly larger.

The car now sits 3cm (~1inch) higher, not sure if I like it but I can always lower it.

Also changed the oil, nice color and no sign of water from the E85. I'm sticking to 10W40

Ride is fully adjustable, so can go softer than Volvo OE if you want. I think OE settings equate to 10 clicks on front and 5 clicks on rear on the BCs.

Junior Volvo went to come to see her sister off to grad school inEurope, and Evita the S70 would not crank. I had put a 5 year old battery in which tested Good this summer

She successfully jump packed it , arrived home 2 hours , and we put a new battery in her.

I'm betting 5 year old battery is the problem...

I shouldn't talk... I think mine is also 5 years old!

Thanks I'll try those :D I've been fiddling with the adjusters, started with full soft on all 4 corners but it was a lil' bouncy

I'll report on how I like those once I get a good setup

And I fixed my low washer fluid light

Nice. Got your money out of that one. Perfectly good spare for a Scot, though.

Just wondering if a V70 tailgate will be a bolt-on swap, electrics and all, onto my 855? My 855s tailgate has some clearcoat failure, and some rust appearing on the leading edge. I've found a V70 tailgate in the correct colour for significantly less than it would cost me to repair/respray my current tailgate. I did have a search but could only find one post on the matter.

Are the two a straight swap? I know I have to get the bulb failure relay from the V70 too, as the relay for the V70s LED is different to that of the 850s halogen, but beyond that?

Cheers,
