V70 2.5T Rotella T6 5-40W

I use this in most of my vehicles. Is this ok to use in this engine with 131K miles?

Car is new to me from an auction and runs awesome. I’m planning on changing the fluids this week.

You'll be surprised how quiet the engine is WOT. Probably have used it for 6 years. Run it in all my vehicles now except the Atlas which will be getting the new Rotella. Use WIX or a quality European filter.

I think Kragens use to have it behind it's counter as they were sold to the repair shops. It seems like ages but I think Oreilly use to be Kragens. Good Filter.

In doing some research the T6 5W-40 went through a packaging change several years back. The API SN was removed but Rotella said (read a post) no change in formula.

Fast forward maybe this year the new Gas Truck 5W-30 has the API SN Plus for the latest vehicles. The Diesel / T6 guys are still happy and now the T6 people with non_Diesel API SN Plus vehicles are happy. Rotella is laughing their way to the bank also, but hey we don't mind as we still have a great proven motor oil(s) at an excellent price.
