88 240 power steering rack line

hello i recently ran into some bad luck. one of the small 1/4 metal crossover lines on my power steering rack has rusted and sprung a small leak, enough of a leak that the car will not hold fluid long enough to drive.

i removed the line in hopes of replacing in with flared brake line but it appears the the end of the lines are a special bubble flare with a small o-ring at the end. short of finding a good line off an existing rack, is there any hope for a repair? the rack itself it good and i dont want to have to replace the whole thing.

ive called around and cant find anyone to make the line and cant seem to find a part online. im at work but will post a picture when i get home.

could i somehow pull a redneck fix and jb weld the cracks in the line with some sort of metal foil reinforcement? im getting desperate here and its getting cold soon!
