Getting New/Used Key Fobs and Keys 2006 V70

My car only came with one Key and Key Fob. Volvo told me it’s $700 for new key and key fob, lol!

What are the best options to seek replacements from new or used sources? I’m not sure how the programming process works either. Is that a VIDA/Dice function?

The bottom line is dealer only.
Master key sans Fob: $250.
Full key about $500.

If you can confirm you are owner of this car, we can program keys online. Also we can offer used re manufactured remote control. But, if discuss about metal blade, there are couple options: you can ask local locksmith to cut shape from your original key, or you can send us your original key and we can do it. We are locate in San Jose.

From another post this is Yagger's information. I will contact you for information on making a new key and purchasing a used fob on a 2003 S80 T6. Hope you can also repair 2 remotes for a 2008 C30. The remote for the C30 can no longer open or close the doors but can be used to start the vehicle.

I spoke with them today and you need to either take your car to their shop or be in the San Jose area for them to get to you.
