I did have a clunking sound going over speedbumps, found out one of the swaybar links got loose.

I then got onto checking all the engine mounts: gotta replace them all
The passenger lower mount is just starting to sink


Subframes bushings aren't looking much better


There's still a few oil leaks. One if from the rear of the pan, but the gearbox might be leaking as well I'll do an oil change next week

That oil leak may be the turbo oil drain seals... definitely easier than dropping the pan! Looks like that axle seal might be leaking too.

You definitely caught that passenger side mount right on time! They can be a pain once the bolt heads dig into the rubber.

Oh no that is not color matched. Just some whitish i found at oreillys. Looks a thousand times better than before thoughPut primer, paint and clear on it. Looks terrible

Oh, funny! On my screen it looks like a very light grey and closely matched! Ace hardware white it is!

I want to get the smaller S60 mirrors for my XC wagon and paint to match, but it's just basic black, shouldn't be too hard.

I've gotten paint from Automotive Touchup (automotivetouchup.com). It matched perfectly on my old V70. I plan to order from them again to match my spoiler and a piece of door molding that needs to be replaced on my R.

Used mine as a tool shed while I replaced the radiator on my New Beetle, reminding me how masculine it was next to a Miata, which means ‘“pink tutu” inJapanese

Its abolsutely brutal. Front clip has to come off, and then you work underneath getting sprayed in dripping coolant from the dead spaces in the cooling system you can't drain.

The good news is I had the clip off before, to replace an air bag sensor, so i did it in 1/2 book time (2 hours)

My blue tutu got dirty though.
