S40, C70, V50 ... the perennial achilles heels of the Volvo lineup.

Quality issues, ridiculously small cabin space, ... definitely will continue to stay away from those!

There's a $300 "2001" S70 on North Jersey Craigslist now. Needs a transmission according to the poster. I have no relationship to the ad/poster.

That 240 looks nice, as long as it's rust-free, you've got a good cheap one!

The S60R would be a great buy for like $800. Interior looks clean, but it's an AW55 car that needs an engine. Still, it would make a great project.

The 1800 looks like a parts car... I don't think I've noticed that Volvo badge before, though. I like it!
