Looks fairly clean, but it's priced high. Probably needs a timing belt, PCV, etc. like every other one that doesn't mention any recent servicing. Maybe $2,500.
Being a base model, it just gets more and more disappointing when they're automatic! There have been a few base models to show up at the local junkyards lately, and they're all auto. It's annoying! I need manual parts!

I'm starting to realize Volvo's are far and few besides expensive in the RTP area. If it had less than 100K with all the normal stuff done, timing belt, PCV, ABS module and suspension it might be a good deal as far as having a nice car to keep for awhile.

Looks like a decently nice 2004 V70R at what seems to be a good price. ($4400) Durham, NC.

Yeah, I love how dealers proclaim “Cheap!” in the headline to try and convince you it is - when, in almost every case, it’s overpriced.

Now THAT'S not a bad deal. P2 V70Rs are usually outrageously prices, although that one has higher mileage, it looks clean. The only drawbacks are the Gobi interior and AW55. Then again, if it was an M66 car it would cost triple that. Hmm... I'm almost tempted...

Key word here: dealers. What they consider cheap, I consider ridiculously expensive!

You can buy from a dealer at 80% of ask if you show up with that sweet green smell of cash.

Thats a nice stick shift S70 T5 at $3500. If you bought a $500 one, you would be in deeper to get to that condition.

Business idea - lets take the Beetle and the mIata to a Taylor Swift concert and offer the tweens rides for $5 each - we can settle the manhood question too. Ill check with my parole officer to see if I can go out of state and be within 500 yards of a school for money.

Trouble, trouble, trouble..

 That'll go over well!

At $3,500, it would probably be a great buy if it's up to date on maintenance. It looks like a really nice car.
