CAN bus communication issues

Guys, I need help figuring out how to diagnose my can bus issues on my 2014 XC90.

I have a Volvo/Saab scan tool that I bought off of ebay.

2014 XC90 3.2 AWD

Backstory:

I bought my xc90 after it had been in a mostly rear end accident back in 2017. It had 30k miles on it. I replaced the hatch and rear bumper (headlight and front fender were scratched). The car drove beautifully for 1.5 years. This spring I purchased and installed the volvo tow package wiring/module and an aftermarket hitch. I took the car on a road trip where i purchased a small (single axle) trailer with a UTV. I drove the car and trailer home with no issues. After performing a routine oil change, I gave the car back to my wife. She called me saying that all kinds of light came on in the car from abs, to anti skid, to brakes etc etc. She said the car was extremely difficult to drive. So I reset everything with my scan tool and she drove it home where it relapsed. I have since had 3 European shops look at it including the dealer and we are still having issues. The dealer refuses to work on the car because of the accident history. So I will have to figure out the problem and make the repair myself.

Side note. After one of the shops looked at the car we took it on a 1500mi week long road trip with no problems. But shortly after returning home everything came back on.

Please help me figure out what I can do with this car. It is super nice when it works and only has 58kmiles on it. I don't want to junk it.

I would be happy to take it to a reputable shop located in the South East somewhere if the repairs are beyond my capabilities. I am pretty decent at changing parts but less competent at diagnosing electrical/co.puter issues.

iCarsoft VOL V2.0?
Diagnostics Trouble Codes (DTC) ?

It is the icarsoft vol. 2.
Codes stored in the car right now:
U0101- Lost communication with TCM
U0073 - Control Module Communication Bus Off
P0700 - Transmission Control System
The antiskid is temporarily off message is displayed as well.

I cannot recommend the iCarsoft vol II. The codes are poor translations for the Truck you have. You would of got more and better for 1/2 the price with a Vida-DiCE clone.

I had to jump to other cars to get an idea what was going on. The common factor is the CAN bus to the Central Electrical Module (CEM). CEM to ECM & CEM to TCM.

Pull the CEM, clean and reset the connector. Do this with the battery disconnected.
