Looks nice for $1k. I'd like a T6, I'm sure there's gotta be some way to beef up those awful transmissions.

If it runs in the manual shift mode it still might be OK. Thought about putting in the Transgo Shift Kit and a complete flush with the Havoline Multi-Vehicle ATF as I did for the 03 S80 T6. Would also add a Transmission cooler like the one for the Odyssey.

One of the main reasons I wanted to get the V8 over the 3.2 when we were shopping for my mom's XC90 was the gas mileage difference... from what I've heard, the V8 does just as well (if not better) than the 3.2. With the power difference, better design (lack of the READ B.S.), and the simple fact that it's a cool, unique engine (and a V8... that makes V8 noises) it made absolutely no sense to get the SI6.

That said, most people who own them are happy with them other than gas mileage and the lack of power in the XC90. But that's the XC90, I'm not sure about the P3s. I would think they're better in both departments (gas mileage/power) in a P3 S80 or V70.

That said, I really like the P3 V70s. A T6 R design would be awesome, but IIRC there were only 1 or 2 of those made. I'd be more sad if there was a manual option, the fact that they only came in auto and there aren't any resources for a manual swap makes it less of a loss!

That's an NA S40/V50 engine for 2.4i models. Good deal if it's in good running condition!

That's an S60 R, not a bad price if the shocks and struts have been replaced, but if they haven't it's over $1k to DIY that job.

The "good" news is though, the AWD probably doesn't work any more!
