AC only works when cold outside

Any advice on why my 2004 S60R would only work when the weather is cold or just on cold start-up. Once the car warms up it does not work anymore except in cold weather when it keep working???

When you say don't work do you mean the compressor cuts out or intermittently cools?

My 08 C30 T5 AC will also stop working when the weather get too warm. I know that is the problem. Have not address this yet. There are other videos and write ups about the compressor shim problem.

Other common issue is A/C overcharged.

It sounds like a classic clutch gap problem

Thanks, guys the fact that I don't hear the clutch kicking in and out may add to this diagnoses.
