What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

Nice car for the visitors, the P2

Winter/Airport Rat - T5 for my trips to NYC, DC, BOS and for my personal trips to valet at airport. Im going to pass this one to a M56 enthusiast when it hits 300k which will be end of 2021

Seller did a few snip snips here and there that it probably shouldn't have had so I'm gonna need to look into dealing with that. Also now i've gotta figure out how to make it happy in FWD (preferably without shelling out for an angle gear).

Wasn't as bad as I thought. Line to the slave cylinder got chopped (as in, cut) and the ground cable got chopped but neither of those are an issue.

Minor task...noticed a problem....identification of problem by divine providence.
Readied my snows for swap. One was flat. One of the metal clips on a wheel weight of the flat tire had rusted away.
I performed a soapy water test on the beads as I figured the rusted and swollen weight clip was the cause of the leak.
NO BUBBLES. Hmmmm. I went inside.
After prepping dinner I went back outside and found the leak.
I had inadvertently positioned the valve at the 6 o'clock position such that the draining soapy water accumulated around it.
I came out to find a ever growing pile of suds around the valve.
Happy, happy day.

This is the last time-go-round for these snows and the wheels are real rusty too. They represent the best $200 I ever spent.
I got 5 or 6 seasons out of them even though they were a tad wide.
Future Winters will see 15" Lysithia wheels sporting 195 or narrower snow tires.

Drove it in the snow and mud. Really soft and not to grippy. Too bad the car's fwd
