Loud Scratchy noise when shifting into Drive or Reverse

95 850 Turbo sedan. I've never heard this noise before today. But when I shift into drive or reverse, along with the usual thud now I hear a fairly loud scratching type noise (dont want to say grinding, but i suppose it could described as a mild grinding noise). This may be the first time I've driven this car in sub freezing weather (ive owned it since April 2019), so there's that factor.

What do you guys think?

Could just be some exhaust noise if it happens at idle, with car not moving!
