Wow that was very resourceful of you! I did not even think of trying to repair mine before ordering a new pump. I replaced my pump for $200 and you repaired yours for $10. Of course JB weld is not a permanent solution but it is definitely a money saver haha. I hope it lasts forever for you and you don't have to shell out another $200 and do it all over again.

Got a new pump from FCP for around a hundred dollars and bosch even. JB weld pooped out and finally delaminated, as I would expect it to. All in all I really love this car and have enjoyed learning to take proper care of it. I also like shopping the online volvo parts sites for bargains!
