Fuel gauge Redline

Post by tunatime »

OK so recently fuel gauge and temp gauge went all the way up to redline apon start up I will replace thermostat and temp sensor that should fix that :D But the fuel gauge what's up with that haven't had any intermittent problems they both went up at the same time. Normally don't run much fuel but I did put heaps in and I parked it on a hill and it shot up to redline could the fuel level sender be jammed or something else. Where should I start? Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers Tom.
