I did cam seals on an 05 XC and as a result messed with the CVVTs. I completed the install as well as cleaning out the PCV but now I have a much bigger problem. My adaptation values according to VIDA are too high and throwing a code. I have about 10 attempts at adjusting my adaptation results by moving the teeth on the cam one forward, or one back, with fine adjustments in the gear sprocket and my adaptation values are between 20 degrees and 30 degrees - throwing a check engine light and ECM 670/671C codes.
Has anybody experienced this? What am I doing wrong? Car runs EXCELLENT.
CVVT Replacement and Cam adaptation values too high/low for Intake/Exhaust
