Ok long story hopefully short: I’ve always wanted what I can a tribar Volvo ( because headrests) but never really made it a priority. I got a p80 v70 not long ago and while junkyard diving I ran across a 93 in pretty good shape (aside from the knackered motor). I don’t know what model it was, it looked like a long wheel base sedan (or I underestimated how long these are!).
Oddly enough I feel in love and want my text toy to be one of these. I’d love to am have a rwd semi-sleeper to dick around in.
So I’m wondering what you guys can tell me about them? I’m going to be reading a lot in this side of the forum when I hit submit, but I wanted to see if there were any big issues or things to look for good or bad.
Thanks!
Thinking about acquiring one of these boxes, tell me what to look for!

Make sure NO rust especially in doors or will fall off hinges.
just replaced drivers side door, hinges and new door opener which was broken and inside of door was rusted out even though it looked shiny and nearly new.
Not sure what a text toy is but good luck. I have had 3 Volvo 240's now have a 1993 classic wagon that I love. Was number 181 of 1600 so named special edition. Wish you all the best.
