Bluetooth integrated into the head unit does not occur until MY11, prior that if you want the capability you need to install an aftermarket unit (OE accessory is a rebranded Motorola IHF1000 or 1500). Some folks have gone the Parrot mk9100 route with a wiring harness, and there's always the GROM adapter or an aftermarket head unit with bluetooth capability built in.
I have the Volvo accessory bluetooth in both my vehicles, for the '08 I had to source a combination of old and new parts to make it work.

I added BT in my 2004, by soldering a 5$ BT Module on the AM Module in the trunkroof.
Good: ist works
Bad: u lose AM Radio
Between: u need to Turn the volume for FM to Max if u need it, as long the Module is powered. But for That, a Switch Would help.

The cheapest alternative I've found is the MR12Volt kit. I haven't bought/installed one (yet) but here's a couple of links to it on Amazon and a youtube video showing it being installed. They don't speak in the video but at least you can see how it goes in.

If you find a better/cheaper alternative, please let me know.
