Coolant Temperature Sensor Brands?

Hello,
I have a 1999 S70 GLT 2.4L I am replacing the thermostat with genuine Volvo but wondering how folks feel about replacing the temperature sensor with a Nappa/Myele unit?

Any thoughts/opinions would be helpful.

ECT, I go Volvo only. Get it from FCP and you've got warranty coverage.

Suggest not to put any brand other than Genuine Volvo for ECT sensor ( also called Temperature Sending Unit). Same goes for all cooling hoses and connections.

I agree with the above advice. I bought an FAE brand aftermarket sensor a few years back, and it worked for a few years before failing. I replaced it with an original Volvo SWF sensor, which has been working fine since.
