Re: Vacuum Elbow/Lines Question
Thank you. Looks like routing it from the Flame Trap to the front of the engine to the manifold is the way to go.

Crazy, actually got that little sucker on with just two sets or long nosed pliers. One straight and one curved. Took two times though, gave up a few days ago but tried again this morning and got it by some miracle.

One end connects to the passenger side of the intake manifold and the other conencts to the PTC nipple on the pipe that runs from the airbox down to the turbo inlet.

I had the pcv system changed about 3 months ago. Isn't that hose a part of the pcv system? If so than I believe that this hose is changed. And if so ,would that mean that something else is the problem for my car?
EDIT:
in this picture it is hose with parts 14-11-10-13?

My mechanic assures me that it came with the pcv kit and he replaced it.

Hei, blackVolo
That looks like on the connections to the airbox valve for the heater flap. There should be two pipes sticking out the rear (towards driver) of the air cleaner housing with two hoses/elbows on them on your car, if it does NOT have a turbo
You will need this working in Finland in December!

What does that mean, airbox valve heater flap? is it for heating up engine from cold, redirecting warm intake air from exhaust manifold? Or is it for cabin heater? Because cabin heater works fine, gives hot and cold as needed.abscate wrote: ↑09 Dec 2019, 07:24 Hei, blackVolo

Yes, that is the one. Follow the silver fat hose from near the exhaust Manifold and it will lead to the 'motor' that opens/closes the valve to set the air intake to the right temperature.is it for heating up engine from cold, redirecting warm intake air from exhaust manifold?
