P80 V70 side marker light Topic is solved

In the last couple days I've been on Google finding pics of P80 v70s that have side marker lights. I could be mistaken. But if this is the case, is there a way to install the side marker lights on my 98 xc? I liked having them on my 01 base, could swear I've seen P80 ones on Images.

Not on P80....1996-2004 s,v40 have them....S80 too.
P2 don't have them neither....i don't understand the part when you said that you liked them on '01 V70!

IDK about 850’s, but there’s a mounting hole under
the Volvo badge on ‘98-‘00 70 series cars. Volvo
started shipping with a side repeater in those
fenders for ‘99-‘00. Available in JYs everywhere!

They definitely came factory on my 01 v70 base model! Random example on the paved lot. My rewired example on the grass lot.

Shut the front door! That's cool! Not only do they pre-wire the interior for their customers, they also prefabricate lights mounts?! Get outta here! Now I'm excited to do that. But wait! Is that prewired on a 98? I want to wire some LEDs there! I'm not surprised it happened 99+ because that's when Ford took over and they did it to the P2.

When you said side markers i meant on side markers which s,v40 and s80 have in bumpers.

I now realize that you meant on turn signal lights in front fenders.

Yes....ALL EU market cars have them in the fenders.

My 1999 T5 has them from stock

I’m not sure if Evita has them but probably have a photo or two...oh yeah!

Wow cool! I'm really ecstatic! Abscate, are you still planning to part out your Enron and able to donate those motor mounts? If you have side marker/side turn signal lights, may I please have that and entire wiring loom for it? Unless my car comes with it already.
Can you please PM me a link to a topic that discusses bad fuel mileage? I'm getting very bad mpg. Need a resolution to it!
As a side comment, that snow is a winter lovers dream (mine)! I need to take another road trip to Wisconsin.

As I recall you have to splice in the wiring, so get the connectors with the lights.
