I've found a MY2000 s80 t6 that I am going to drag home today and start swapping modules between the two cars. I'll be swaping everything on the HI speed loop

CEM
TCM
ECM
ABS
and ETM if required.

Can anyone offer any insight into what modules are VIN locked and will also need to make the journey from the 2000 to the 1999? I'm aware there may be issues with with the key/immobilizer and will swap the ignition key if required.

Thanks! I'm so fed up with the BRAKE FAIL nonsense. Game on!

There is configuration file in the CEM, if there are some differentials between your CEMs some your original options can stop to work.
ETM should be installed with ECM together, like a pair.

Damn, the ETM has to go with the rest eh? Normally i'd be all over it- no question about swapping every last module HI and LO, but..... its mid december in Canada!

I got the donor car home, I'll start pulling modules shortly. As much as I don't want to swap every single module on account of the weather (garage is full with a project car, not my daily driver lol) I'm worried that a single failed module could have caused all of my troubles here, and if I get lazy and don't swap everything I may be right back where I started. I should probably change the seats to match the power seat module to the cem, and door modules, uem, etc.

I pulled the CEM, TCM, ECM, ABS, ETM, DDM, PDM, PSM, ISM, SWM, UEM, REM, SRS, DIM, and CCM from my donor s80,

Along with the seats as the psm is there and my driver's sips was an error that wouldn't clear in vida.

What about VIN? It is in the CEM. How are you going to get smog check permission?
Ou, I forgot, you are from Canada, possible other rules there.

Check your Atacama interior cars coming into Canada for persons running from peach infestations - apparently the bone spur defense isn't working anymore. They will try to blend into the orange interior.
