Sounds good and will do.....except I doubt I'll be able to post pics. Your witnessing the extent of my computer abilities.
But I can describe in graphic detail :)
For instance, the ones I have now are a burnt orange sort of color. Not quite pumpkin

Sounds like Bosch 0280155746 but it could be other Bosch part numbers. The injectors where used in many makes, Jeep, Ford, GM, BMW, Volvo ... Etc. Double check by pulling a injector out and getting the numbers of both sides of the injector, one of the two numbers will be the Bosch part number. Search by Bosch part number for the best deal. It not uncommon for the same Bosch part number to have different prices when it is sold for a Ford vs Volvo ... the same part and interchangeable.

The injectors in my Volvo 2.9L where sold for use in a Ford V6 for a lot less.

It would help if you post at least the first eleven digits of your VIN number. The engine displacement and emission code determines which injector is correct for your car.

Very cool and good to know ! My jeep has ford injectors but I thought this car wouldn't share that kind of flexibility.
A quick look and I see apx. $ 130 ea. for re-manufactured Volvo. I'll shop around for that price.

YV1 = Volvo Cars.
L = 850 series.
9 = incorrect This is a letter S= Sedan W = Wagon.
57 = B5234T1 (2.3L).
2 = Emissions w/o EGR w/o air pump, w/OBDII, w/elec. control evap, Motronic 4.3 w/Rulo.
2 = Check figure Calculated from other digits.
T = 1996
1 = Manufacturing plant, Torslanda, Sweden.

The latest Bosh part number is 62687 but the remanfactures do not use that part number, they will use the 0280XXXXXX on the side of the injector.

Your orange color gives me some uncertainty.

Are your injectors fat like this: Image
Or skinny like this: Image

Both are interchangeable as they are both 30lbs per hour @ 3 bars. 14Ω - 16Ω resistance. Any injector that meets the above spec will work if it fits.

If you going through the trouble of replacing the injectors make sure you get the upgraded four port injectors. each of the four ports is smaller then a single port and atomize the fuel better for a cleaner burn but with four ports the flow is the same as the one bigger port.

Pretty sure they are the fat ones. I will have to take one out and see before I order.

Thanks a lot for your info. I will look for some four port ones to order asap.

Just go to full editor

Then click attachments

Then add files

( it helps if you put the pictures in a place easy to find on your computer, like desktop)

Wait for files to upload ( when you see the progress bar fill , then disappear)

Then press, submit!

In the full editor you can also drag and drop pictures into the text screen in WIN and MACOS, but it doesn’t work on a mobile device in IOS at least

I ordered her all new ignition components so I'll probably be under her hood toward the end of next week.
Will try posting pics then.
What do you mean by " full editor " ?
