Inspired by SM in the middle of his V70 NA head gasket/valve job
I did a quick search in the Forum and found people reporting success with three products for the cam cover sealer.
Volvo sealant 1161059 1160158 about $40 per tube

Loctite Part 515 518 - differences?
Quick request - can you gurus add knowledge to this thread ?
Issue at hand is SM is stuck in 15F now, perhaps 32F later - we want to know setup time for the sealer as function of temperature

I found a recommendation to use Locite Primer N764 for application below "Room Temperature"

I had this as an issue once and I put two 150 heat bulbs shining on head and threw a furniture pad/quilt over the hood to form a tent (use a prop for hood as support cylinders will go down) and let it sit overnight and started the engine the next morning. That car has never had a leak or seepage.

Ah good idea, I'll try that with my small space heater tomorrow after I set it!
