2001 C70 Whistling - Fixing Passenger Window Seal?
Hello all. I have a 2001 C70 which experiences whistling at speeds around 60mph (or during high wind) on the passenger side front window. I've narrowed it down to the window seal - it whistles when the window is up and not when the window is down. Is there anyway to refurbish the window seal, or is a complete replacement necessary? Thanks!

Check the door lifter mechanism, where the green rollers are... You remove the door card, door pull assembly, and the black foam covering the access hole behind it. You may have to lower the window a touch to see the rollers. The front roller should have a bendy piece of copper coloured metal in the roller Chanel under the roller. This slows the front roller causing the the glass to tilt towards the back as it raises, jamming it firmly into the recess. Also check the rollers while your there. I Had the same thing - whistling window- and wouldn’t have noticed that the steel wasn’t there had I not happened to see it lying in the bottom of the door. It has prongs that locate it in the chanel and shouldn’t move much.
