S80 t6 1999 codes 1237 / 0014

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

S80 t6 1999 codes 1237 / 0014

Post by miguelmenino »

Good afternoon. I have had a problem with my Volvo S80 T6, 1999, which is as follows: when I am accelerating, up to 4500 rpm the car is very slow, and from there accelerates well. The codes I have in obdII are 1237 and 0014. I already changed the TCV and the timing belt is synchronized correctly. But the car remains the same, with weak and hesitant acceleration. Anyone who can give me a hint of what it might be, I appreciate it.

Quick internet search says 1237 is related to the TCV. Since you replaced it already (hooked up correctly? Read live data to see it functioning) people suggest the vacuum lines may be at fault, so check those. 0014 apparently related to cam timing, not sure what to make of that.
