Hey folks, this quesiton or questions goes out to those that changed out the factory HU to an aftermarket.

I called Crutchfield to find out about a HU. It turns out they dont have the 01 researched. They dont have an install kit or harness kit.

Where did you folks dig those items up?
Or did you have to butcher the cars harness

The HU can be replaced without `butchering` any wiring. You can get an ISO wiring adaptor fro the power side of things, and most people make an audio lead that connects to the 6pin din plug, This then connects to the low level or RCA outputs of your new HU. this allows the use of the factory amp.
