Christmas tree

Post by eamonnpetty »

Started my car (09 Volvo S60) and it ran for a few seconds and then it shook for a few seconds and dropped to 0 rpms and Christmas tree’d. Started it back up and no lights but it’s still a little shaky. Any ideas?

The list is countless. You need to get a scan done. It could be a MAF to a poor power/ground connection and all the small parts in between.

I would try with the engine ground wires (one small behind the engine on pass side) plus few on the sides of the engine bay, connection at the battery inside the trunk, place a voltmeter on the battery with the engine running, see what voltage. Also how many miles, timing belt replaced ?
