So I dont if anyone has watched Roberts recent videos. He says he has a manufacturer that is willing to produce new R style front bumpers and possibly another manufacturer willing to make new leather seat covers for the p80 cars. He was asking for comments indicating interest for the manufacturer to start production based on interest. Does anyone have any info on his sources? I'm just really curious because this could open the door for a lot of p80 stuff that we have been unable to get due to no supply or lack of interest from manufacturers.

I commented on both videos cuz I'm definitely interested in those new parts.

it kinda depends on the price. my R bumper is still okay, so are my R seat covers. But if they are of high quality I'd be interested. Especially the R bumper wozld be great to have as a spare.

Seat skins and bases are currently available from Elwood Industries, and there have been UK suppliers for wings and bumpers
9Volvo Composites on Facebook) both have been available for years. Volvo Composites primarily do lips/splitters for the R bumpers, but I believe they're working on full bumpers; I'm no longer on Facebook so cannot check.

Lseats sells skins at $299 for set. Reviews are mixed, I’m going to try them in Spring

Elwood run $450 per seat for two pieces and another $70 for the headrest if needed.

Ill definetly wait and see what the Spin-master can roll out of his magic.

I am considering the same if these are better than the Elwood ones. Those don't impress me.

So to the OP, if there is a manufacturer that gets the quality close to original for a reasonable price, I'm all in.

Dirk - Ive never heard bad things about the Elwood's - can you share?

I bought two bottom S/V70 skins from IPD on closeout last summer really cheap, code 3960, and they look identical to the Elwoods - and I would say they are pretty good. They might be Swedish Car Parts (IL) ones which are $270 for a single seat set. Not too bad. Its worth $103. 93 to me to not have to remove them from a junker.

If history has any bearing on this, if you think you'll need these, and Robert does indeed have them produced, get what you need.

If these guys can get an 8/10 seat skin product out the door at $100+ a piece, thats awesome.

Fighting a seat to of junkyard, then the hand work of stripping it is not a task on my fun list.

In this video Robert indicated the R bumper may be ready to sell in April. They had enough interest to start manufacturing.
