Check fuse 13 under the left side end cap of the dashboard. Page 159 in this manual:
https://volvo.custhelp.com/app/manuals/ ... /om_id/571
Look in the index under fuses and click on the page# (157, then scroll to 159).

May also try locking unlocking driver's door 3 times with the remote. Also try removing the Alarm Siren fuse (panel at the left end of the dash as you open the driver's door)
