Due to 'misting' of headlamp glass I would be interested whether anyone has
had cause to buy new glass and where was it sourced and best price.
I realise that a 'scouring kit' is available but past experience is pointing me
towards 'new'.
Thanks in anticipation.

IIRC, 2004 V70s are glass. Can these glass headlights fit other years?
BTW, I got good results polishing headlights with Mother's Mag Polish., Sure it is only a temporary fix, but for $15 or so you might get a few more years out of the headlights you have.

A kit isn't even necessarily needed. You'll have a lot of success using 1500 and then 2000 grit sandpaper with some quick detailer as lubrication. I've brought a few sets of headlights back from the dead using this method. If you really want to go crazy and you have a random orbital, use that to finish them off. They'll look great for quite a while, and it only takes 15 minutes or so. I like to use painters tape on the surfaces next to the headlight so I don't have to be as careful near the edges.
