headlight works, well kind of... - 98 s70 GLT

One night about 3 or 4 weeks ago, my lights looked dim. I hit a bump, and they got brighter. Well... that bump turned my light on. Then a couple days later, I noticed it again. I got out and tapped the fender, then the light came on. Its been getting worse and worse. Every time I turn on my lights, I have to get out and tap the hood/fender/light. But once its on it stays on until I switch my lights off. Suggestions of what to check? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Has this car ever been to a Volvo dealer?
The headlights and the headlight switch BOTH have (FREE) recalls

I did go to the dealer with the vin and asked if the recalls had been taken care of. They said that they had been. Does my problem sound like what the recall was for?

Could be, it can go bad again, especially the switch
