Ive got a project coming up so I am compiling sources and comments.
All content believed to be true but 90% trustworthy
Preamble
there are three parts to these skins - lower, upper and headrest
Base models and R T5 models have slightly different versions of leather and trim, so be aware there.
1. Volvowebstore
https://www.volvopartswebstore.com
Lists lots of colour codes and combinations ranging from 280 to 490 per piece - Ive also experienced that interior trim parts may be NLA so definitely call before placing an order
For my 1999 S7 they list
3160 1966 3170 3080 1944 1770 3880 3860 1866 1366 1970 colour codes.
Grey gray Granit Light Beige white oak descriptors
Fascinating as my S70 has interior color code 3680 - WTF?
2. Elwood Industries
http://www.elwoodindustries.com/S70V70seats.html
List both P80 and P2 Base and Trim skins for $180 bottom and $270 per seat, code 3960 shown and other colors available
Swedish car parts IL
https://www.swedishcarparts.com
$270 for report leather skin in 3960 - other colors?
3 IPD FCP - I dont believe they carry these anymore?

Actively looking now, I'll be watching this thread. *If* Robert can get OEM level quality I think he'll need to charge closer to $300. I'm willing and able to pay more than that for above OEM quality.
I'd buy four sets in dark grey immediately.

Seems to me that a lot of owners are looking
for a new driver’s skin, but the passenger seat
is still looking good. How many P80s get scrapped
with perfect or near perfect passenger seats?
Now... How often does that happen in right hand
drive countries? Seems like we might consider
the advancment of some international trade.
Thoughts?

Im going to call this one not worth it.
Pick n Pull pricing in Rhode Island for leather seats
202-1 Seat-Buck(Ea)W/Track(Man) Car $35.99 $0.00
202-2A Seat-Buck(Ea)W/Trk(Ele)Lthr Car $50.99 $0.00
$51 for me to haul it out, plus entry fees, plus another 2-3 hours labor to doeskin, then carcass the rest of the seat? RI is also a three hour drive. I could only see this if I were getting killer value on an engine or something big and the seat was perfect condition.
Harrys will sell you a seat if you remove the airbag and motors, at $21 - better
If I can get new skins at Roberts price of $200+ , thats it for me

Here’s the rub on junkyard seats
P80s are now 20 years old, so their residence time in junkyards is limited. If a P80cones in it can get crushed in weeks vs months now, so unless the yard is stripping them, we are losing inventory.
Moreover, chances of finding good seat leather are dwindling.

Which is why YOU need to find them before they head to the JY and then strip them.

Getting harder and harder to find good, usable P80 seats at Harrys. I've even had trouble finding good P2 and P3 seats of late. Unfortunately, they are high wear items.
