1998 S80 hu-801 hidden menus problem

Hi there.

I'm new to the forums, so, i appologize in advance if this question was answered already, but i searched for it and found nothing related.

My S80 has an HU-801 and everything works fine except the hidden menus! I got the .pdf with the combinations for the different menus and i tried most of them but none of them shows up.

What could be the problem here? Are they blocked/deactived for some reason? Or is there anything that i am missing? (as an example, radio is turned off, i press the volume button and hold it down for 5-10-15 seconds and nothings happens, i'm doing it right, right?)

Just to update this: i found out that the hu-801 unit does not have an equalizer. I tried an hu-803 and right away played with the equalizer and other options, the hu-801 has a few basic hidden menus but those are different from the hu-803.

So, if anyone is wondering about the equalizer on the hu-801, there's none, unfortunately.

So there is no way how to set equalizer on my S80 MY2000 with HU801?

Because I know that the newer HU801/803 is not compatible with my MY2000 S80.
